About ACE SELF CARE
Ace Self Care was founded in 2025 by Marlene Roeder to help members address and escape from their own childhood trauma.
Marlene Roeder, journalist and author, was kept isolated from human contact in the first three years of her life, even though she lived at home. She grew up, belittled, bullied, and beaten by her mother and grandmother while her father was absent most of her life. She saw firsthand that trauma is passed on from one generation to the next. Eventually she realized that human beings also repeat the behavior patterns they learned as children with partners, friends, and family.
Despite her diseases, hospitalism, hypothyroidism, painful stomach cramps, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjoegren’s syndrome, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and tubular renal acidosis, she never stopped learning about new insights and treatments for childhood trauma. It took her fifty years to see the entire impact of what was done to her so many years ago, and will gladly spare everyone else the ordeal.

Our Vision
ACE Self Care aims to remedy the dire inheritance of 2.5 billion adults alive today that were mistreated as children. We would like to make their lives better, and as a consequence, prevent them from passing their trauma on to their children.
Our Mission
ACE Self Care attempts to make the world a better place, one person at a time, by opening their eyes as to what is happening to them. We know only too well what the alternative looks like: chaotic relationships, epidemic diseases, insane working hours, addictions, and stress.
